While second-round opponents Sedge are rivals of Brighouse Town in the Baris Northern Counties East League Premier Division, Birkenhead-based Cammell Laird are members of the Evo-Stik (Northern Premier) League Division I North.
The third qualifying round Trophy tie will take place at the Kirklands Stadium on Saturday week, November 10.

Tom Mathews took his season’s goal haul to 19 with a hat trick as Paul Quinn’s side followed up their recent 5-2 FA Vase win at Hall Road, when Mathews scored twice.
Mathews notched in the seventh minute, with a shot from an acute angle, and 23rd, with a penalty.
After Johnny Slater pulled one back from the spot early in the second half, Mathews restored the two-goal cushion on 59 minutes after running onto Adam Wilson’s pass and driving the ball home.
Brighouse’s FA Youth Cup first-round clash at Bottesford is tonight (7.45) while they host FC Halifax’s clash with Scunthorpe tomorrow (7.00).
