FC HALIFAX Town manager Neil Aspin has signed James Knowles from local neighbours and Blue Square North rivals Bradford Park Avenue.
The 29-year-old, who has played for Farsley Celtic, can play both defence and midfield.
He is expected to go straight into the squad for the trip to Workington on Saturday.
