Golf: Jason McMahon’s magic just far too much

LOCKWOOD Conservative Club’s Jason McMahon was on the mark in the New Year opener of the SMileS Huddersfield Open Snooker League.

McMahon, who was conceding a massive 64 points start on handicap in his match against Moldgreen Conservative D team’s Graham Hallsworth, swallowed up most of his deficit in one fell swoop when he knocked in a break of exactly 50.

McMahon took the final frame 101-81 as Lockwood went on to win the Section IIIA match 3-1 with other victories coming from Lee Moseley and L Haigh.
