THE new Alliance season gets under way in less than a fortnight, with the opening competition being staged at the delightful nine-hole Crow Nest Park course, on Thursday, September 15.

Entry is £25 per pair and includes food.

The Halifax, Huddersfield Alliance are also once again staging the National Alliance Tournament, which this year will take place at Crosland Heath, on Monday, October 10.

The event has already attracted entries from as far afield as Derbyshire and Hertfordshire, and promises to be a major event on the Alliance calendar, although officials are still hoping to attract teams from nearer to home, particularly from the Bradford and Leeds Alliances.
