TT RACES Holmfirth’s Jamie Robinson insists he’s a quick learner and is ready to prove it at the Isle of Man TT races after a solid debut. The 32-year-old – who sat out Saturday’s action – made his bow in yesterday’s Supersport race and finished a creditable 21st, with an average speed of more than 116mph over the 37.73-mile mountain road-race course. And the former Holmfirth High student, who finished fifth in last year’s British Supersport Championship, was thrilled.“I was a bit steady on the first lap – then somebody came past and it was a guy who has obviously got a lot of experience of the course, and I just sat behind him and learned from him,” he said.“He was really quick in places and I learned a lot from just following him. Then I got into the pit stop and thought to myself I can go quicker and I just got my head down and went out loads better.”Australian Cameron Donald picked up where he left off on Saturday by claiming the Superstock crown.
