    HOCKEY AN injury-stricken Lockwood Park Dragons battled both the elements and an in-form Didsbury, finally going down 6-3.Laura Benson had an inspirational game as sweeper, playing with strength and determination, while newcomer Amy Smeaton produced a creditable performance linking well with Sarah Blackburn, Amanda Sowerby and Kelly Fillingham.Didsbury scored first, but Sowerby levelled with an aerial shot from a short corner, only for the visitors to net twice more by half time.Lockwood attacked furiously at the start of the second half, but Didsbury showed how to score.Striker Liz Green eventually latched onto a drive, which she converted, but the visitors netted twice more to wrap up the contest before Green scored a consolation.
