Angling: Huddersfield angler Kieran Wood beats Hoyle Ing rivals

KIERAN WOOD demolished the opposition in the Hoyle Ing Risby Folly match.

Pole fishing floating baits, the youngest angler on show caught 22 ghosties in the last two and a half hours of the match to land over 100lb of fish, which was a tremendous achievement.

Meanwhile his father pole-fished pellet for second place, and N Blacker took third using worm and caster as bait.

Over at Low Hills Pond, three large carp shed the hook to cost C Slater his fourth successive win. Latest results:
