Snooker: Ryan Waterworth on the mark

RYAN WATERWORTH produced one of the best breaks in the busy SMileS Huddersfield Open Snooker League as Broad Oak took the spoils against Kirkburton Liberal Club.

The one-handicapper came in with a break of 43 to defeat Burton’s Terry Morgan 74-47 as Broad Oak took the match 3-1.

The highest break of the week again came from Lindley’s Robert Read (57) but it wasn’t enough to seal a win over Golcar RBL’s Jonathan Reaney.

Read’s teammate Naeem meanwhile, had breaks of 54 and 36 as he carved out a big win over James Shaw in the 2-2 draw.
