GARY SYKES will defend his British super-featherweight boxing title against Middlesbrough’s Paul Truscott in Huddersfield next month.

The big bout will now top the Saturday, March 5 bill at the Sports Centre which already included Tyrone Nurse and a string of other Huddersfield fighters.

It’s become a Matchroom promotion and will be screened live on Sky – but ticket prices remain pegged at the original £30 and £50.

Dewsbury fighter Sykes, 26, will be making his second defence.
