RISING rugby union star Andrew Forsyth has celebrated England glory!

The highly-talented centre from Clayton West was in the England Under 16s side that beat France, Wales and Italy in the inaugural Four Nations tournament.

England vice-captain Forsyth, a student at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Wakefield, was a leading figure as the national side beat France 13-10, Wales 23-5 and Italy 32-10.

Forsyth earned his England call after starring for Yorkshire against other northern counties, then against the North, the Midlands and London.

He was then invited to join a 60-man England Development Squad before receiving his call for the Four Nations tournament.

A trial for the England Under 18s at Loughborough University in July is next on the agenda for the explosive back, with hopes high he will take the next big step up.
