THE Borough of Kirklees Junior Synchronised swimming squad scooped two gold, five silver and two bronze medals in the Northumberland and Durham Open Championship.
Eleven swimmers from BOK took part in the competition held at Felling Pool in Gateshead and did well against Walsall, Gateshead and Pudsey Pearls.
Jennifer Merson and Alice Wood took gold in the 12 and Under duets, while Emma Winterbottom was first in the 15/16/17 years figures.
Jennifer won silver in the 12 and Under solos, while Emma had silvers in the 15/16/17 solos and, with Rosie Holdsworth, in the duets.
Silvers also went to Demi-Leigh Bairstow in the 12 and Under figures and Emma Deighton and Jenna Bissell in the 13/14 duets.
Alice Wood added to her gold with both the club's bronze medals in the 12 and Under figures and the same age group's solos.

15/16/17 years figures: 1 Emma Winterbottom, 5 Rosie Holdsworth, 8 Alex Holloway, 12 Helen Cuminsky.
15/16/17 years solos: 2 Winterbottom, 5 Holdsworth.
15/16/17 years duet 2 Winterbottom and Holdsworth, 6 Holloway and Cuminskey.
