POCKET dynamite Jason Bellanfante returned from Germany proudly clutching a bronze medal.

The seven-year-old, from the True Spirit Club based at Salendine Nook, was competing in Stuttgart at an international competition as part of a 17-strong team from the Quest Taekwondo Organisation.

His success led to Jason being selected to represent the organisation against teams from Ireland and Korea in Sheffield.

Several members of the Huddersfield club, who are coached by Mark Bellanfante, competed in an Open event of True Spirit Taekwondo Clubs at Ardwick Leisure complex in Doncaster.

The team put up an excellent performance and, in their respective sections, Jason finished third, Claire Dyson second, Richard Rathod second and Becky Simpson third.
