AFC Emley Under 19s aim to sign off a highly successful season by clinching a Northern Alliance double on Sunday.

Richard Spychalksi’s West Division champions face Gainsborough Trinity, of the East Division, in the final of the league’s Pat Rice Trophy.

The big game is at Ossett Albion (2.30) and Emley will be seeking a 16th win in their 18th game of the season.

Selby, Yorkshire Amateur, Ossett Albion, North Ferriby United and Field have been seen off en route to the final.

And 24 goals have been scored in the process, including five at Sunday’s venue as Ossett were beaten 5-0 in round two.

Spychalski’s side bagged 65 goals, conceding just 12, in their dozen league games.

Ruben Jerome, brother of Huddersfield-born Premier League star Cameron Jerome, who is on loan to Crystal Palace from Stoke, has notched 30 goals and Sylbert Stewart 19.

Both are among a string of Under 19 players who have featured a first-team level this season.

Darren Hepworth’s Emley first team complete their Northern Counties East League fixtures with a home game against Shirebrook Town on Saturday (3.00).

Northern Premier League-bound Brighouse Town got to Bridlington Town seeking the win which would take their NCEL Premier Division points tally to 101.

Brighouse, who clinched the title with last Saturday’s 2-0 home win over Retford United, lost 1-0 at home to Bridlington on Monday.

The Huddersfield FA stage the first of their trio of finals on Friday when Hepworth United Reserves and Meltham Athletic A contest the Challenge Trophy at Lepton (6.00).

The Challenge Cup final, between West Riding County Amateur League rivals Storthes Hall and Golcar United, takes place at the John Smith’s Stadium on Wednesday (7.00).

Golcar were beaten 3-0 by Huddersfield rivals Bay Athletic in their latest league game.

Kitson Gayle (2) and Nathan James netted for Bay, who are second in the table, 13 points behind Ovenden West Riding with two games in hand on them.

Storthes Hall were unable to do Bay a favour as they lost 2-1 to Ovenden. Bryn Jones scored for the Huddersfield side.

Saturday’s Premier Division games are: Bay v Campion, Golcar v Hall Green, Lepton v Tyersal, Ovenden v Halifax Irish, Salts v Storthes Hall and Steeton v Huddersfield YMCA.

On Wednesday, it’s an all-Huddersfield clash between Bay and Kirkburton.

Ovenden take on Shelf United in the Halifax FA Cup final that night.
