Fireworks seem guaranteed in the quarter-finals of the Oddfellows Cup.

Championship leaders Cawthorne have been drawn at home to fifth-placed Holmfirth on Sunday, June 28 (1pm), with free-scoring duo Liam Wiles and Bilal Khiljee trying to gun each other down.

They have 1,266 runs between them so far and Holmfirth’s Khiljee is averaging 105.83.

Khiljee has 24 wickets, too, at just 13.75, before their league visit to Almondbury, while skipper Chris Walmsley and Muztuza Hussain lead the Cawthorne attack with 20 wickets apiece ahead of Saturday’s trip to Linthwaite.

The Clayton West v Marsden clash also looks mouth-watering in the allroundercricket.com sponsored competition, as it’s second v sixth.

Kyle Hitchman is the man for Clayton West. The 21-year-old Kiwi from the Hutt Districts club in Wellington, has hit 460 runs at 92.00 to add to 16 wickets, while Dan Barber leads the attack with 22 victims.

Jack Smith has over 400 runs for Marsden and Aussie Tom Joraslafsky has 320 runs and 21 wickets at under 16 apiece, so it promises to be a cracker.
