There are two Holme Valley derbies and a cracking tie for holders Barkisland in the second round of the All Rounder Cricket Sykes Cup.

Visiting Barkisland’s Woodfield ground on Sunday, May 15, will be unbeaten Drakes Premiership co-leaders Shepley.

A big crowd is assured at Chapelgate, where last season’s finalists Scholes, the league champions, will host Holme Valley neighbours Honley.

And Meltham, joint leaders of the Jedi Sports Championship, have home advantage in their derby against fellow second-tier side Thongsbridge.

At least two Championship sides are bound to be in the third round, because Clayton West play host to Slaithwaite.

In the Fired Up Paddock Shield, holders Barkisland travel to Rastrick.
