Brighouse Town will kick-off their historic Northern Premier League campaign at home to Radcliffe Borough on Saturday, August 16.

It will be a milestone match for the Dual Seal Stadium club, who were promoted as Northern Counties East League champions.

Radcliffe, who will host Town’s Under 21 team in a friendly next Friday, July 25, finished 18th in the First Division North last season.

Paul Quinn’s Brighouse side are soon into derby action, visiting Ossett Albion on Tuesday, August 19.

They head to Clitheroe on Saturday 23 before a Bank Holiday Monday 25 showdown at home to former NCEL rivals Scarborough.

Brighouse’s Boxing Day visitors will be Farsley, while they will visit Scarborough, who are now based at Bridlington, on New Year’s Day, and Farsley on Easter Monday.

Quinn’s side continue their build-up to the new season with a home friendly against Bradford Park Avenue on Tuesday.

FC Halifax Town head to Harrogate Town tomorrow chasing a fourth win in as many warm-up matches.

They were 2-1 home victors over newly-promoted League I side Rochdale on Tuesday.
