TIM BRESNAN catapulted Yorkshire back to the top of the LV County Championship table.

His stunning figures of four for 10 in 10 overs (which included six maidens) were enough to carry Darry Gough's side to an innings and 260 runs victory over sorry Worcestershire at Headingley on Saturday.

A third success in four matches was already on the cards when Worcester resumed their second innings on 29-1, needing 363 to make Yorkshire bat again.

The visitors had no answer to Yorkshire's attack, in fact, and were skittled for 155 in just 55 overs, with Adil Rashid also claiming four wickets at a cost of 47 runs in 17 overs.

Both Bresnan and Rashid were on hat tricks at one stage.
