Armitage Bridge Cricket Club are holding a Cricket Fun Day Extravaganza in aid of the Huddersfield Town Foundation.
The Town Foundation is a charity set up by club owner Dean Hoyle to provide support for under privileged children across Kirklees.
The charity’s initial focus has been to provide free nutritious breakfasts to school children across the region.
The charity day is on Sunday, July 21, at Armitage Bridge and is been co-organised by Huddersfield Town with James Moorhouse from Armitage Bridge.
There will be an Under 9 tournament in the morning , followed by a Huddersfield Town XI v Huddersfield Town ex-Players and Guests XI T20 game (including celebrity appearances) in the afternoon.
An array of family-based activities and entertainment is planned throughout the day, including football in the community games, bouncy castle, face painting, BBQ and a live open air music finale.
