EX-SHEPLEY bowler Trent Copeland could be set for a Test debut with Australia next month.

The 25-year-old – who played in the Drakes in 2007 – is one of four uncapped players selected for the tour to Sri Lanka.

Four years ago, the medium pacer picked up just 28 wickets throughout the Premiership summer.

He fared better with the bat, scoring around 500 runs – his best effort an unbeaten 100 against Delph & Dobcross.

He plays for New South Wales but is not centrally contracted.
