HUDDERSFIELD’s Joe Lumb Cup side hope to get their campaign under way on Sunday, when they play the Bradford League at Thongsbridge (1.00).
Elland’s Jack Hendy skippers the Under 18 side for the opening game. They should have played a fortnight ago against North Yorkshire and South Durham, but it was postponed.
Joining Hendy in the side is his Elland teammate Ashton Blakey, along with Meltham trio Will Fraine, Alex Clegg and Rohan Randhawa, Timmy Taylor and Josh Holling from Lascelles Hall, Jake Lockwood (Golcar), Ian Walker (Broad Oak), Bradley Birkhead (Rastrick), Joe White (Green Moor) and Lewis Richardson (Crigglestone).
