David Nunns and Geoff Ladbrooke will umpire this year’s arrowselfdrive Sykes Cup final.

They have been selected for the major knockout showpiece on Sunday, August 10 (1pm).

For the semi-finals on Sunday, July 13, John Wood and Colin Davis will be in charge of Hoylandswaine v Skelmanthorpe, while Nick Oddy and Barry Dyson will officiate for Golcar v Shepley.

Umpires for the Fired Up Paddock Shield final on Sunday, August 17, are David Haikings and Mark Atherton.

Both semi-finals of the second XI knockout are on Sunday, July 13, when Mick Bottomley and David Collins will have charge of Broad Oak v Skelmanthorpe.

Stumps in the tie between Shelley and Slaithwaite will be pitched by Andrew Crawshaw and John Beaumont.

Meanwhile, it’s a busy weekend in the Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League.

Not only is their a double-header for Premiership clubs at both first and second-team level, but there are also quarter-finals on Sunday in the Oddfellows Cup and Earnshaw Cup, both sponsored by allroundercricket.com.

Jedi Sports Championship leaders Marsden, who visit Clayton West on Saturday, are the highest-ranked team in the Oddfellows (which is for first XIs not in the Premiership) and they will be looking to make up for a crushing league defeat against Broad Oak by beating Cedar Court Conference side Almondbury at Hemplow.

The Conference division is guaranteed a representative in the semi-finals as leaders Kirkheaton entertain third-placed Cumberworth United, while two other third-tier sides, Cartworth Moor and Denby are at home to Championship opposition in Almondbury Wesleyans and Lascelles Hall respectively.

Oddfellows Cup draw (Sunday, 1pm): Cartworth Moor v Almondbury Wes, Denby v Lascelles Hall, Kirkheaton v Cumberworth, Marsden v Almondbury.

Earnshaw Cup draw (Sunday, 1.30): Thurstonland v Kirkheaton, Rastrick v Hall Bower, Cumberworth v Denby, Lascelles Hall v Shelley.
