Hall Bower are the Sellers Huddersfield Junior League Under 11 Champion of Champions.

The Castle Hill side defeated fellow section winners Skelmanthorpe in an exciting and close-run final which went right down to the wire.

Skelmanthorpe lost four wickets in totalling 259 in the final at Kirkheaton.

And then the Bower struggled to gain momentum in their own innings, with extras pushing up their tally by 30 runs.

When it came to the last over, Oliver Hirst was facing the bowling knowing that if the Bower lost a wicket then Skelmanthorpe would win.

But he batted it out to ensure the trophy was in the hands of Bower captain Matthew Crane with a total of 267.

Cup finalists Barkisland and Kirkburton (Barkisland carried off the Dawson Cup last week), who were the other section winners, were the losing semi-finalists.

Town ambassador Andy Booth presented the medals to the finalists and the trophy to Hall Bower.
