Imran Rawat who scored 122 not out in the Mount's 222-6 against Crossbank Methodist A in the Huddersfield Central Cricket League

Imram Rawat hit an unbeaten 122 to steer Mount to victory against Crossbank Methodist in the Huddersfield Central League.

Crossbank elected to bat first in the Premier Division clash and put up 218-6 thanks to 101 from David Bedford and 50 from James Lord.

Ismail Haji took four wickets for Mount.

Mount made a decent start, but it was the impressive Rawat who saw the job through to 22-6.

Green Moor are top of the table by a point from Heckmondwike & Carlinghow after eating Old Almondburians in impressive style.

Rotash Saini hit 106 as Green Moor totalled 266-7 against the Almondbury side.

Liam Burkinshaw then took five for 25 as Old Almondburians were bowled out for 138.

Heck & Carl slipped after losing to Woolley.

The second XI Tinker Cup final between Mount and Woolley was called off to heavy rain.

It will now be staged this coming Sunday, August 17, at the new venue of Upper Hopton CC.
