At least one Cedar Court Conference side is guaranteed a place in the semi-finals of the Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League’s Oddfellows Cup.

That’s because third-tier leaders Kirkheaton have been drawn at home to face mid-table Cumberworth United in the quarter-finals on Sunday, June 29.

Denby, the lowest-ranked team left in the knockout for clubs outside the Premiership, have been rewarded for their sensational win at Linthwaite with a home tie against another Championship side, Lascelles Hall.

They will be hoping Bandula Don and Tony Wilkinson can reproduce their heroics of the first round, when they hit 91 and 77 respectively to help Denby knock off 252-3 for the loss of seven wickets.

League newcomers Cartworth Moor, who knocked out higher-division Clayton West, are also at home in the last eight, when Championship Almondbury Wesleyans are the visitors.

In the other quarter-final, Jedi Sports Championship leaders Marsden take on promotion-chasing Conference side Almondbury at Hemplow.

The Earnshaw Cup for second XIs will also stage quarter-finals on June 29.

Oddfellows Cup: Cartworth Moor v Almondbury Wesleyans, Denby v Lascelles Hall, Kirkheaton v Cumberworth United, Marsden v Almondbury.

Earnshaw Cup: Thurstonland v Kirkheaton, Rastrick v Hall Bower, Cumberworth United v Denby, Lascelles Hall v Shelley.
