Oddfellows Cup favourites Marsden have a home tie in the semi-finals of the Drakes League competition.

The Jedi Sports Championship second-placed team will take on Cedar Court Conference leaders Kirkheaton at Hemplow on Sunday, July 20 (1pm).

The other semi-final of the allroundercricket.com sponsored knockout, which is for first teams outside the Premiership, features Lascelles Hall at home to their Championship rivals Almondbury Wesleyans.

In the 45-over Earnshaw Cup, for Second XIs, the semi-final ties are Kirkheaton v Rastrick and Shelley v Cumberworth United.

These matches start at 1.30 on July 20.

Meanwhile, Drakes League clubs are reminded they must take at least four tickets for the annual dinner at the Cedar Court Hotel on Friday, November 15, when the guest speaker is former Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Somerset player Pete Bowler.

He now works in the legal profession and is regarded as one of the best after-dinner speakers around.

Comedian Jamie Sutherland is also on the bill and tickets are priced the same as last year, £32.50.
