SCHOLES enjoyed a 10-wicket romp at neighbours Holmbridge in the Sellers Huddersfield Under 15 League.
Jack Bryson took four for five as Holmbridge were held to 51-7 and, with Tom Brook hitting an unbeaten 32, Scholes raced to victory in just seven overs.
Almondbury Wesleyans were another side to enjoy a comfortable win, beating Thongsbridge by eight wickets. T Oak retired on 31.
The top game in Group A brought three retirements with L Wiles and L Skelley (Cawthorne) making 35 and 24no respectively in a total of 114-7.
Skelmanthorpe's D Storey took four for 27, while batsman G Parkes replied with 27, along with 30 apiece from J Jagger and J Fletcher.
Kirkburton beat Kexborough by nine wickets, G Smith (32no) and O Davidson (four for eight) the pick.
Micklehurst could not get to grips with Marsden's R Brown, who took four for 19 in the win for the Hemplow team.
Earlier S Hall (33no) and J Smith (30no) led the way for Marsden with backing from R Brown (25).
Meltham gained their first win of the season beating Leymoor, who made 62-8.
J Dixon hit 24 as Meltham reached 63 without loss, while new signing G Gaunt took three for 21 in the first innings.
Broad Oak and Slaithwaite fought out a close affair, the Oak making 95-5 with Jack Hargreaves scoring 31.
Slaithwaite's reply closed at 90-8, J Langfield making 31 not out.
