Spare a thought for Ryan Wadsworth at Broad Oak.

He scored a fantastic 127 in the T20 Shield at Clayton West on Tuesday – only for the match to be abandoned!

The Oak totalled 231-4 – Alex Slack was 51 not out – while Clayton West were 44-3 in reply when the match was called off, Ryan’s brother Jack having claimed one of the wickets (their younger brother, Nathan, has now moved to Slaithwaite Under 13s).

Home team Clayton West and the Oak are replaying tonight (Friday) for the chance to host Moorlands in Tuesday’s Shield semi-finals (6.30). The other semi is Almondbury Wes v Lepton.
