A fine unbeaten century from Chris Flanagan kept in-form Allsop Cup winners Thurstonland on target for the arrowselfdrive.com Huddersfield Central League title.

Flanagan carried his bat for 107 not out as Thurstonland totalled 207-3 at Cartworth Moor – Tom Sykes scoring 37 – and then the bowlers got to work.

Ex Woodfield Park player Mark Askham led the way with four for 17 as Cartworth were restricted to 142-6 despite 57 from Sam Thompson, 28 from Andy Bissett and 34 not out from Harry Franklin.
