The November Alliance at Dewsbury District produced a convincing win for home club pro and captain, Nigel Hirst and Jason Weston, in the Pro-Am.
The pairing scored 39 points, the highlight being a net eagle on the long par three 16th by Weston. In second place were David Delaney and Paul Hesselden (12) of Bradley Hall on 37 points.
In the AmAm there was an even more convincing win for Crosland Heath’s Simon Whitham (11) and Richard Wimpenny (13).
They finished with an outstanding 41 points in a round that ended as the light faded. Winning a countback for second were the Heath’s Mathew Russell (19) and Ed Pearson (17) on 38 points from Danny Hartley (1) and John Awork (8) of Dewsbury District. Leading scores:
