Ambitious Huddersfield Town Ladies are holding trials for players of all age levels next week.
They take place at the club’s Storthes Hall Park base (HD8 0WA) on Wednesday and Thursday, July 1 and 2, from 6.30 to 8.00pm.
Junior players from current school year five and above are invited to attend for the three junior teams, Under 12, 14 and 16.
All three compete in the Sheffield and Hallamshire Girls League.
Players age 16 and above on September 1 may trial for the open-age teams.
Town, founded in 1988, finished fifth in the FA Women’s Premier League.
They are targeting a place in the two-division FA Women’s Super League, the highest level in the game.
The club are also looking for local businesses to sponsor first-team squad players next season.
