Rastrick Under 12s picked up their first points of the season in Division 4B with a 3-0 home victory against Hade Edge.

It was a very evenly-matched contest in the RCD Huddersfield Junior League but Hade Edge – also without a point this term – were unable to find the net while, at the other end, Rastrick made the best of their chances.

Goals from Charlie Shepherd, Max Swann and Ben Green settled the issue in Rastrick’s favour.

Centre-back Harvey Turner picked up the man of the match award for his hard work in the Hade Edge defence.

Goals from Jake Stackhouse (2), Toby Wheatcroft, Ben Stevens and Alex Burns were just enough to secure a 5-4 victory for Greetland.

Honley Under 12s made it three wins from three in their Division 5A game against Battyeford.

Battyeford were unable to break down the strong home defence and goals from Archie Hall, Ben Crabtree, Dominic Taylor, Jai Gosal and William Robinson sealed a 5-0 win for Honley.

Meltham remain hot on Honley’s heels in the same division following their 6-4 win over Westend Tigers.

The visitors found the net four times as they tried hard to overcome the table toppers, but replies from Dawid Wojciuk (2), Ben Sykes, Fraser Hepplestone, Oliver Aughton and an own goal secured 6-4 win and three points for Meltham.

Lepton Highlanders got a first win under their belts in a close encounter at Ossett Town in the top division of the Under 14s.

Ossett struck twice to keep the Highlanders on their toes, but a goal from Joel Binns and two for Prentice Douglas sealed a 3-2 victory for Lepton.

Westwood Dolphins Under 14s scored four times in their home meeting with newly-promoted Clifton Rangers but still finished on the losing side.

A goal each for Russon and Owen were topped by Sterling, who grabbed four to give Clifton a 6-4 win and send them to top of Division II.

After narrowly losing their first two games, YMCA Under 15s finally got off the mark with a home victory over Greetland in their Division III meeting at Salendine Nook.

Goals from Manuel Mainetti (2), Ebanks (2) and Sam Jennings secured a 5-4 win for YMCA.

After a long struggle last season which ended in relegation, Dalton Dynamoes Under 16s are back to winning ways.

They went joint top thanks to a 2-0 away win at Westend Lions, the goals coming from Oliver Bellwood and Niall O’Connell.

Netherton Under 17s remain the only side in Division II with a 100% record and their latest victory at Kirkburton put them top of the division.

James Cawley (2), Daniel Russell (2), Craig Williams and Jack Evans were on target as Netherton eased to a 6-1 victory.

Littletown, last year’s Under 17 runners-up, are hoping to go one better in the Under 18s this time and their latest victory at Thornes leaves them well placed for a shot at the title.

A goal each for White and Binks secured a 2-0 victory and a place at the top of the table.

Meltham Under 18s maintained their strong start to the season with victory over Thornton United.

Two goals from the visitors were not enough as replies from Bonner (2), Roberts (2) and Charlesworth gave Meltham a 5-2 win.
