Huddersfield Town fans have voted in their hundreds on how the Terriers will fare in their final 10 games of the Championship season.

And they believe Chris Powell's side WILL be playing football in the second tier once more next season, but are not wholly confident of a successful end to the campaign.

21.15% of fans believe Town will finish 20th and most believe they will finish anywhere between 18th and 21st, with 10.21% feeling that their side could yet slip into the bottom three.

But how will Town fare in their remaining 10 matches?

Check out the fans' projected league table when the final whistle blows on May 2 and how they see Town's season unfolding in our charts below.

Doug Thomson's view

Town have some tough games coming up between now and the end of the season - but I believe Chris Powell's inconsistent side have at least three wins left in them.

I also think they will finish in their highest position since returning to the Championship in 2012, bettering the 19th of the first season back and the 17th of last time around.

While I would love to be proved wrong, I don't think they will better their points tally of 58 back in that freaky 2012-13 campaign, when Peterborough United had 54 but still went down.

Having as many players as possible fit is key, and how Powell could do with having both Nahki Wells and Harry Bunn, his two top scorers, back in the fray.

Town badly need to bring something back from Birmingham City, and while Tuesday's encounter with Norwich City looks very difficult, they have a decent chance of beating Fulham.

I've also got them down to get points on the board against Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town and Brighton and Hove Albion, and finish the season with wins over Blackburn Rovers and Blackpool.

Tom Marshall-Bailey's view

I don't believe Town are in any relegation danger as I think Wigan Athletic have left it too late to get out of the danger zone and an 11-point cushion should be more than enough to see Powell and his side home so they can prepare for next season.

But the manager has made it clear he doesn't want this campaign to fizzle out and I can see Town securing points from seven of their remaining 10 games as a result.

I thoroughly expect them to come out on top against the sides below them in Fulham and Blackpool who - after Town - are the third and second worst sides in the division across the last six games, with only Millwall posting a lesser points tally in that time.

The likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Blackburn are floating around in mid-table and do not look set for a sustained push towards reaching the play-offs, but equally are safe for another year so I expect Town to pick up points here too.

Norwich and Nottingham Forest are two of the form teams in the division and have hopes of reaching the top six or even better so matches against the teams fighting for promotion promise to be daunting tasks.

But a return of 11 points from their remaining games should be enough to ensure progression from last season's 17th place, even if it won't surpass the points total of 59 from two seasons ago.
