Aaron Mooy is determined to spend his year at Huddersfield Town improving on the form that saw him crowned Melbourne Player of the Season.
The Australian international has signed a year-long loan deal from Manchester City after his performances in the A League earned him a move to the Premier League side under Pep Guardiola.
He already has experience in England after beginning his career with Bolton Wanderers.
And now the 25-year-old is hoping an impressive year in the Championship under the tutelage of David Wagner can convince Pep Guardiola he's worth a go at the Etihad Stadium.
“I don’t want to stop improving,” he told Four Four Two.
“It’s what I’ve been doing my whole career and I want to keep improving and try and be the best player that I can be.”
In the short term, Town are the club to benefit from that desire and motivation.
He added: “Playing every week, it’s what every player wants to do. I’m happy about just playing football it’s what I love doing.”
