TOP scorer Pawel Abbott is ruled out at Swansea tomorrow.
Town's 13-goal marksman has not recovered from a back injury suffered in training earlier this week.
It's a blow for Town as they bid for a fourth straight win at the new Liberty Stadium (7.45), and manager Peter Jackson is forced into a change on the bench against Kenny Jackett's men.
John McAliskey, who scored in the Reserves 2-0 home win against Nottingham Forest yesterday, could well get the nod as he, Adnan Ahmed and Mark Hudson were in the 18-man squad which travelled today.
"It's disappointing, but there's no point hauling Pav on a six-hour coach trip just for him to fail a fitness test at the other end," said Jackson, who has lined up further contract talks with Danny Schofield and his representatives late next week.
"We had thought he would recover but it's not the case, so it opens a door for someone else to step into the spotlight for what should be a cracking game between two good sides."
Abbott scored in Town's 3-1 win against the Welshmen at the Galpharm back in August, when Andy Booth and Schofield were also on target.
Swansea expect their 18-goal leading scorer Lee Trundle (stomach muscle) to play his first match in 13 days as they bid to get back to winning ways after two draws.
"We completely outplayed them here, but Swansea have been very consistent this season and surprised a lot of people," added Jacko.
"Their strength is in the forwards with Trundle and Leon Knight, but if we keep it tight defensively and chalk a fourth clean sheet, we'll have the chance of a great result down there to push on right on the heels of the leaders."
