AFC EMLEY were 3-1 winners in last night’s friendly at Eccleshill United.

The Huddersfield-based Northern Counties East League First Division side went two up, with Craig Wilkinson getting both, before the Bradford hosts, who play in the NCE Premier Division, pulled one back from the penalty spot.

Emley ensured victory when defender Nathan Hazelden rounded two opponents and coolly slotted home.

Emley are back in action tomorrow, when they take on Glossop North End, of the North West Counties League, in a friendly moved to the Welfare Ground (7.45).
