WOODFIELD PARK and Pak Rangers took advantage of Britannia Sports’ Cup involvement to go joint top of Division I.
Park beat basement side Field Head 2-1 at Lockwood, taking the lead but they were then pegged back before taking the three points.
Roman Solano opened the scoring but Head equalised before the home side had a man sent off.
Head battled on to belie their lowly league position and went close on several occasions but wayward finishing let them down.
And that lack of a finisher allowed Carl Aitken to snatch a winner for Park.
Meanwhile, a weakened Pak proved too strong for Black Bull, who won 5-3 at Leeds Road Playing Fields.
Despite strikes from Danny Ingram, Chris Kilner and Sam Haigh, Bull were always trailing, and goals from Abdul Leftisi, Mohammed Iqbal, Rizwan Safdar, Mohammed Bilal and Waqas Rasa made sure of a Pak win.
