AIMBRY FC aim to celebrate only their second season in the Works League by clinching a double.

The Division I leaders can take the first step tonight by toppling fourth-placed Bay Athletic in the Hoyle Cup final at the Galpharm Stadium (7.00).

Aimbry, who after a resounding 9-2 win over Irieti Athletic on Saturday need just two points from three remaining games to hold off the challenge of Sovereign Sports to be crowned champions, have already defeated Moldgreen Con, Moldgreen FC and Lindley Lib to reach the showpiece contest.

They face a Bay side who have conquered Heywood Irish Centre, Kirkheaton Rovers, Hepworth United and Horse & Groom to get through.

Bay also warmed up with a league win, defeating Grange Moor 2-0.

It promises to be an entertaining clash and tonight’s final will be refereed by John Connelly.
