HORSE & GROOM became the fourth side through to the Hoyle Cup semi-finals with a 3-2 win over Sovereign Sports.

Carter, Hampshire and Brennan netted for the Second Division leaders, who having beaten one top-flight side in Sovereign, now face another, Bay Athletic, as they bid for a place in the final at the Galpharm on Tuesday, April 20.

In Division I, the two Moldgreen clubs met at Almondbury, and for the second week running, Con threw away a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3.

Townend, Morgan and Wailes got Con’s goals.

Leaders Aimbry had a comfortable 7-1 home win over Springhead with Fox (4), Reid (2) and Thorpe netting.

In Division II, second-placed Lindley Lib were 6-3 home winners over Irieti Athletic with goals from Smith (3), Boswell (2) and Dixon.

Irieti’s Verity notched a hat trick, after scoring four the week before.

Coach & Horses were 1-0 winners at Uppermill through Hunter.
