HUDDERSFIELD FA chiefs are preparing for two more finals.
The reserve teams of District League duo Diggle and Shepley contest the Challenge Trophy at Lepton Highlanders on Friday (6.00).
On the way to the final, Diggle received a bye in round one then beat Wooldale Wanderers, Upperthong and Newsome.
Shepley defeated Royal Dolphins, AFC Waterloo, Britannia Sports & Berry Brow.
Woodfield Park is the venue for the Sunday Challenge Cup showpiece between Helion Albion and Towngate (11.00).
Albion, of the Fell Promotions Kirklees League, beat The Woolpack (Almondbury), Field Head and Marsh to make Sunday’s match.
Towngate, based in Huddersfield but members of the Heavy Woollen League, beat Barr Street (of the preliminary round), Huddersfield Irish Centre, Helion and Rose & Crown.
l Hade Edge host the District League’s Richardson Cup final between Uppermill Reserves and Meltham Athletic Reserves tomorrow (6.00).
