A film crew from Bermuda have had Huddersfild Town under the spotlight in the build-up to tomorrow’s visit of Wigan Athletic to the John Smith’s Stadium.

Record £1.3m signing Nahki Wells was the centre of attention, although Town’s full senior squad were on the training ground at PPG Canalside.

That was great news for manager Mark Robins, who summed up the positive mood in the camp when explaining:

“It was interesting having the Bermudian film crew here.

“The first question I got asked was ‘did you used to play?!”

On preparations for the match in which Town are aiming to end a run of four straight defeats, Robins added: “It’s good to have pretty much everyone available and I’ll pick the strongest side possible to do the job against a very good Wigan team who have been left under no illusions they are going for promotion.

“They will come and have a go with a lot of top, top players, but I want us to continue passing the ball and creating chances, because if we do that and stick a few away we’ll show what a very capable side we are.”

Skipper Peter Clarke could be in line for a first start in three months after knee ligament trouble while James Vaughan may return to partner Wells up front.
