Huddersfield Town have won on only eight of their 40 visits to Ewood Park.

They have drawn 14 and lost 18 while scoring 50 goals against 71. They also lost 3-1 to Blackburn in the 1928 FA Cup final at Wembley.

In February 1921, Town won 2-1 on their first trip to Rovers.

A crowd of 25,000 saw Billy Smith and Ernie Islip seal the points.

The sides had drawn 0-0 at Leeds Road five days before.

Two goals by Frank Worthington in April 1970 secured a 2-0 Town win and the old Second Division (now Championship) title under boss Ian Greaves.

A vociferous Huddersfield contingent in a crowd of 15,125 were more than happy!

Since winning 2-1 at Blackburn on Boxing Day 1986, Town have managed one draw before suffering five successive Ewood Park defeats.

Jordan Rhodes  netted in April this year in a 1-0 reverse.
