TOWN fans intending to follow the club's Copa de Ibiza campaign are being urged to book early.

Organisers PlayHARD Sports have had a tremendous response from Town fans in support of the event in July.

The nearer it gets to mid-summer, however, the more likelihood there is of flight prices increasing - and that means the cost of supporters packages will go up.

PlayHARD spokesman Damian McGrath explained: "A lot of bookings have been received so far and we would recommend those fans who are still waiting to book do so as quickly as possible.

"Flight seat prices will rise as bookings come in which, in turn, will push our prices up."

Flights are from Manchester, Leeds-Bradford or Doncaster-Sheffield and the tournament - in which Town will play two matches - runs from July 9 to 16.

There are organised events for supporters throughout the week and packages include tickets for the matches.

Entry to the games - capacity at the stadium in San Antonio is only 1,500 - is strictly for those who have booked official packages with PlayHARD Sports. Anyone on holiday in the Balearic Islands at the time of the tournament will not be able to get into matches as any spare tickets are taken up by local clubs and schoolchildren.

Coventry City and QPR are also using the Copa de Ibiza as part of their pre-season build-up and the schedule is completed by an Ibiza XI.

Packages are priced £319 (bronze), £349 (silver) and £379 (gold), the latter being for a three-star hotel.

Bookings can be made on 01943 464297.
