Bookmakers have dramatically cut the odds on Huddersfield Town to achieve promotion to the Premier League this season.

Town can be backed at 9/2 in William Hill, 5/1 at Paddypower and 6/1 at SkyBet, Betfred and Coral.

Those odds are a far cry from the 12/1 the bookies had Town at two weeks ago - with Paddypower offering the lowest odds at 11/1.

Town's incredible start to the season has seen them beat Brentford at home and Newcastle United away and draw to Aston Villa at Villa Park.

Odds on the Terriers to win the Championship have also shortened drastically, with William Hill offering 16/1 for Town to finish top of the second tier of English football - the same odds given to Sheffield Wednesday.

Paddypower have Huddersfield at 19/1 to win the league, with Coral offering 20/1 and SkyBet 22/1 - and Boyle Sports have even suspended bets on Town to take the Championship trophy.
