Director Paul Haigh revealed, too, that 59.9% are for one particular crest.
The result of the poll will not be announced, however, until Town play Northampton at the McAlpine in three weeks time.
"It's a fantastic response and just goes to illustrate what we've said all along - the fans must be involved in all our important decisions," said Mr Haigh today.
"One badge looks like being the winner at the moment, but people can still vote in the programme and on the website, while many, many people also made their selection in the Examiner.
"Whichever choice is made - and 59.9% are thinking the same way at the moment - it will be the fans who have decided, and it's vital they have the logo which they want to represent their club."
To mark a hoped-for promotion push, Town are also launching a spring sale at the club shop from tomorrow.
Mr Haigh explained: "There's a 50% discount on all the current Joe Bloggs stock, and even more off the Mitre merchandise, so fans can cash in while helping their club as well.
"We are still losing an awful lot of money each week, so every purchase makes a difference and there are some real bargains to be had."
Shareholders will receive a run-down on Town's finances at an egm at the McAlpine on Wednesday (6.30), before the Reserves' game against Wrexham (7.00).
