A calming influence in central midfield, he sprayed the passes around and conducted operations with aplomb 7

JOEY GUDJONSSON
Never afraid to try his luck on goal, he played a big supporting role in the engine room contest 7

JORDAN RHODES
Worked hard and came close with an early effort before being replaced by new boy Danny Ward at the break. 7

BENIK AFOBE
Never let up against Brentfords big centre-backs, but was unable to conjure any real efforts on goal. 7

GARY ROBERTS
Had spells on both sides of the pitch as he returned from illness with a busy and hard-working display. 7
