Smith, Coady and Butterfield were impressive for Town but when you have the depth of quality Cardiff have they can change personnel and shape to nullify the players causing them problems. William, Huddersfield

Clearly surely to everybody, we need at least one more central defender. No more midfielders. We might even have to buy one ! Conceding 10 goals in three matches is proof. TJ, Horbury

Another three goals against us, which makes 10 in three games. Surely Dean Hoyle needs to either go to Specsavers or bring in some decent defenders and a quality striker. It's okay carping about FFP, but that won't keep us up. Bottom of the league, no manager, poor team. Stop trying to paper over the cracks, we need a quality manager and quality players coming in.Stephen, Puerto Santiago

It is another difficult game on Tuesday but if we keep up the commitment showed on Saturday it should not be long before we get a positive result. However I am concerned at the number of players sidelined by injury which increases with every game and reduces the manager's options. I believe Mark Robins' fitness team were replaced in close season but I don't remember the injury situation being as bad with the previous staff. With Joel Lynch's poor performances, it highlights our threadbare defensive options and the urgent need for a quality centre-half. James, Sheffield

So much better than the Bournemouth game. However, so very weak in attack with Stead having as much movement as Long John Silver. Wells is excellent but needs support. Dixon and Lynch need to get their acts together. Butterfield, Coady and Majewski are a pleasure to watch. Hammill made a difference but would have preferred Lolley on instead of Ward who at times looked totally disinterested. Think that things are changing for the better. Well done Mark Lillis for the vast improvement.Richard, Kirkburton

Need a centre back & centre forward. If we play like that with the two additions in the rest of our games we will win more than we lose. Great performance from the travelling fans.Bob, Barnet

Town were never going to get much from this away fixture but by putting "in a shift", as Mark Lillis keeps saying, they improved on the first game against Bournemouth.SPH, Almondbury

Lynch just never coped against Jones. The number nines were the difference. Cardiff's very good, Town's ordinary. Key moments Majewski's miss that would have put Town one up and their third which knocked the stuffing out of us.James, Meltham

Lynch has all the attributes to be a top class player, but always leaves them in the dressing room. Why after 10 months are we still missing a target forward. More round pegs required for the round holes!David, Cleckheaton

A lot better than last week but we need a result at Reading.Dean, Mirfield

Competed against a very experienced Cardiff side. Two central defenders and a striker a must for new manager.Rob, Denby Dale

Poor performance and I think Town will continue to struggle until they strengthen the defence and stop leaking goals.Phil, Waterloo

Once again too many players not good enough i.e. Lynch, Dixon, Ward. New man at the helm needed quickly and a quality striker and defender brought in before it's too late. Thanks Lillis, but new man needed quickly.Derek, Linthwaite

The result would always be in question but it was more about the performance for me against Cardiff, we improved, however defence still needs sorting. My man of the match was Wallace.Steven, Bradford
