Huddersfield Town added an extra touch of excitement to the 2016/17 home kit launch - by getting a new signing to be one of the models.

Elias Kachunga has arrived on a season-long loan deal from FC Ingolstadt, and Town have the option to buy at the end of the 12 months.

Rather than a traditional announcement, the club opted to reveal his identity as part of the kit launch at the Odeon cinema on Friday night.

The new kit, which features a more traditional shade of blue than last year's effort, has gone down well with those at the event and supporters who saw pictures on websites and social media afterwards.

And the news another forward has joined the Wagner Revolution was also a welcome surprise.

Most fans are honest enough to admit they haven't seen enough of Kachunga to make much of an informed opinion.

The striker struggled last season with Ingolstadt, but Wagner is known to work to improve young talent and is keen to restore him to his best form - shown at previous club Paderborn in the Bundesliga.

And fans are cautiously optimistic he will succeed.
