The transfer window is officially open for business, with plenty of managers around the division looking to make additions to their squad before the deadline, which falls on Monday February 2.

Norwich City have unveiled Hamilton Academical player-manager Alex Neil as the successor to Neil Adams to become the second youngest manager in the Football League behind Mansfield Town's Adam Murray.

Cardiff City have finally completed the reported £400,000 signing of Alex Revell from Rotherham United, with the Millers all set to seal loan deals for Huddersfield Town duo Adam Hammill and Danny Ward to add to the loan capture of Leicester City starlet Jack Barmby.

Several other clubs in the division have been busy too, with Watford moving to snap up Mexico's World Cup full-back Miguel Layun on a four-and-a-half-year deal in time to face Huddersfield this weekend.

Meanwhile, Blackpool have strengthened their ranks with the arrivals of defender Grant Hall on loan from Tottenham Hotspur and striker Saer Sene from New York Red Bulls and Wigan Athletic have also raided the MLS for Liam Ridgewell from Portland Timbers.
