Garry Monk is the new favourite to be Leeds United manager.

Massimo Cellino is due to be back at Elland Road by the end of the week, and he is keen to get a new head coach in after suffering rebuffs for moves for Darrell Clarke and Karl Robinson in the last week.

It means former Swansea City boss Monk has emerged as the new odds-on favourite with the bookies - although he isn't the first name to have his odds slashed as the search for a new Leeds boss continues.

Aston Villa could be set to lose Academy graduate Jack Grealish with a host of Premier League clubs circling.

Grealish, 20, impressed on his England u21 debut at the Toulon Tournament, and now Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Stoke City are all said to be considering a move this summer according to the Telegraph.

Stoke have already registered an interest in the creative player, who scored twice for the young Lions in a 7-1 rout against Guinea.

Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini has revealed a desire to leave the club and return to Argentina following relegation from the Premier League.

Speaking to an Argentine radio station, Coloccini admitted he wants to move home, citing family reasons, but the ball is in Newcastle's court due to his contract.

The defender said: “I want to return to Argentine football. I have one more year of contract but due to the club’s decline Newcastle now have another project.

“If there is a chance to return, the priority will be San Lorenzo.”

Derby County manager Nigel Pearson is reportedly ready to target Leicester City pair Matty James and Ritchie De Laet.

The Leicester Mercury reports that the new Rams boss is keen to be reunited with the duo, who he signed in a double deal for the Foxes from Manchester United in 2012.

De Laet spent the second half of last season on loan at Middlesbrough while James missed the whole season with a knee injury.

Brighton and QPR are both looking to sign talented Frenchman Sehrou Guirassy according to L'Equipe.

The French newspaper is linking the clubs with his signature after they watched him at the Toulon Tournament, when France lost in the final to England u21s.

Guirassy made the move to Lille last summer but spent time on loan at Auxerre after struggling to break into the first team.
