Chris Lowe believe Huddersfield Town will be a great fit for him and his family.

The 27-year-old German, who is joining from Kaiserslautern on a three-year contract, has already been house-hunting with wife Moneque and one-year-old son Luis.

And after holidaying in Greece, it will be all systems go in West Yorkshire.

“We’re looking forward to getting here and getting started,” said the left-back.

“Moving here is a big challenge, but also an exciting one.

“And I think it’s the right decision at this stage of my career.

“My family are very important, and they are right behind me in this.

“For Luis, it will be excellent, because he will be able to speak two languages from an early age.

Lowe, who played under Town head coach David Wagner at Borussia Dortmund, will have compatriot Michael Hefele for company.

The centre-back, 25, is joining Town from Dynamo Dresden, also on a three-year deal.
